History

Speed Identity is a leading specialist in biometrics
Since 1958, we have had vast experience from working with different types of identification methods. We are now at the forefront of the development of biometric applications, ranging from the production of passports and identity documents to advanced finger, iris, facial, hand, vein and signature scanning and recognition.

From Photo Booth to Advanced Biometrics
The company Snabbfoto was founded in 1958, operating vending machines taking photographs for official documents such as passports, national ID cards and driving licenses.
The development of the business rapidly accelerated when the need for more advanced photography became increasingly evident entering the world of biometrics and computer technology. In 1994 we produced the first new system, the embryo of today's high-tech equipment for the capturing of high-quality biometric data. Now we have developed both software and hardware for our biometric systems for identity verification.
